About Us

The Overseas Filipino Investors & Entrepreneurs Movement (OFIE-M) is a nonprofit and nonpolitical organization dedicated to empowering Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) through financial literacy and entrepreneurship.

Officially recognized by the Philippine Embassy in Qatar on September 20, 2012, OFIE-M inspires Filipinos to build economic stability, prepare for reintegration into the Philippines, and actively contribute to national development.

OFIE-M advances advocacies on financial literacy, entrepreneurship, reintegration readiness, leadership development, and community empowerment—through committee-led programs, partnerships, and mission-aligned events.

Mission

Our mission is to empower overseas Filipinos workers, turn to be investors and entrepreneurs, by providing a platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and collaboration to explore new opportunities, create innovative ventures, thrive as investors and entrepreneurs, and contribute to the Philippine’s economic growth and development.

To fulfill this mission, OFIE-M shall:

  • Hold Regular Meetings: Conduct monthly meetings for officers and bi-annual meetings for all members to discuss, assess, evaluate, and monitor the organization’s current status, and to plan and review both short-term and long-term goals, objectives, and projects.
  • Promote Active Participation: Encourage active involvement and commitment from all members, fostering collaboration and teamwork on agreed projects and programs.
  • Inspire Innovation: Motivate leaders and members to generate ideas, suggestions, and recommendations for delivering high-quality training services to the general membership and their families back home, including financial literacy and entrepreneurship training.
