ALSE OF-LIFE PROGRAM

The Overseas Filipinos’ Leadership, Innovation, Financial Literacy & Social Entrepreneurship, formerly the Ateneo Leadership & Social Entrepreneurship, Program, started in 2008 in Rome, Italy. It is now in its 15th year of operation.

After more than a decade of continuous capability-building programs, the program has been conducted in 32 countries including 8 in Europe (Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Russia, Spain, Switzerland), 4 in the Middle East & North Africa (Egypt, Qatar, UAE, KSA), 8 in Asia (Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, South Korea, Sri Lanka, and Taiwan) and 10 in the Americas (USA, Canada, Guatemala, Trinidad and Tobago, British Virgin Islands, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Grenada, Antigua and Barbuda, and Grand Cayman Islands).

Almost 5,000 students have graduated from the program as alumni. The Ateneo School of Government (ASoG) administers the program in collaboration with a Consortium of partners: Overseas Filipinos Society for the Promotion of Economic Security (OFSPES), Social Enterprise Development Partnerships Inc (SEDPI)and UGAT Foundation as well as a major collaborative effort with the National Confederation of Cooperatives (NATCCO).

 

Vision

Filipino migrants and their families united towards supporting each other in becoming empowered and highly respected members of society, contributing to nation- building.
